What can I expect from a HomeView inspection?
A HomeView
inspection is a visual, non-invasive examination of the physical
condition of the home. The purpose is to provide an understanding of
the condition of the home so the consumer can make an intelligent
purchase decision.
What else is included?
A basic HomeView
inspection covers all working mechanical systems of the home,
including: electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and all
major appliances remaining after the sale. A HomeView inspection will help determine any major costs that will arise after the sale of the home. It is not a warranty or a guarantee.
Why can't I just have a friend who's a builder inspect the home?
Home
builders may have great knowledge in certain areas of the inspection
process, but may be lacking in other areas critical to safety and
mechanical systems. Your HomeView inspector is trained to detect deficiencies and safety concerns in all areas of the home.
